Our Story

freezelink truck Establishing and sustaining refrigerated and frozen logistics infrastructure comes with high construction costs, maintenance expenses, and the notorious challenge of managing ‘shrinkage’ for profitability. Our clean energy cold chain is the use of technology, processes, and human expertise that allows for the storage, transportation, and distribution of temperature-sensitive products like pharmaceutical products (vaccines and bio-pharmaceutical samples), farm produce (mango, chill pepper, pawpaw, citrus, pineapples, sweet potatoes and much more), consumer packaged goods (diary etc) and protein (fish, chicken etc).

Yet, companies operating in Ghana have long struggled with the absence of dependable, third-party, temperature-controlled transport and warehousing services. This challenge – and the opportunity to stimulate sectors of the economy, in agricultural, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals, etc. – inspired the birth of FreezeLink.

We realized that our experience in the supply chain, cost control, and engineering could address this problem for many businesses that deliver food, drink, and medicine daily. In this way, we could contribute to ensuring food security, food diversity, and to broadening the availability of medicine in Africa. Our dream is to tear down the barriers – of cost, time, and know-how – to companies that need chilled and frozen logistics infrastructure.
