Job Title: General Manager (Engineering)

Main Purpose
The purpose of this role is to serve as the account manager for FreezeLink’s pharmaceutical customers and to lead a team of technicians to deliver engineering services (including installation, maintenance and repairs) to those, and other, FreezeLink customers
The General Manager will be responsible for business development of the Cold Chain as a Service model in the pharmaceutical industry to enable industry players to deliver life-saving vaccines, and other pharmaceutical products, across Ghana.
The role is tasked to contribute to the growth of sales, develop and execute a customer strategy and customer business plan as well as ensuring a high customer satisfaction metrics..
Job Accountabilities/ Fundamentals
- Develop Account Plans based on the Business Units’s strategy
- Design and deploy Acquisition, Usage and Retention Strategies
- Recruit and Build Team of Refrigeration Technicians
- Outline Training Program and Skill set required to build your team
- Lead Team of Technicians to deploy Maintenance Services
- Design and implement performance management metrics for your team
- Help negotiate business terms with each customer to reach the most effective conditions for FreezeLink
- Manage the execution of activities with customers including trade shows, demonstrations, product launch events, etc.

Required Competencies
- 4+ years of previous experience in an Engineering Role preferably electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field.

Job Title:Refrigeration Technician
Function:Engineering Services
Reports to: Project Manager, Maintenance and Modular
As reported by The Daily Graphic, The New York Times, Global Dispatches and others, FreezeLink is Ghana’s leading logistics company focused on ‘cold chain’ logistics for the food, agricultural and pharmaceutical sectors. We are currently seeking a Refrigeration Technician to spearhead maintenance activities with refrigeration units distributed across Ghana. The successful candidate will be familiar with recent refrigeration technology and in strategies for reducing refrigeration equipment downtimes, this opportunity will mean:

Responsible for undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance for refrigeration equipment relating to freezers, fridges, refrigerated containers (reefers), hematic refrigeration units for both cold rooms and load boxes for cold trucks. The overall objective of this role is to reduce the down time of the assigned equipment and count of corrective maintenance requests using strategies that are scalable and cost effective
- Liaise with Line Manager in the preparation of preventative maintenance schedules
- Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective repairs based on requests from equipment end users both external and internal to FreezeLink upon approval
- Ensure all HSEQ protocols are adhered to during delivery of service
- Maintain all electrical installations in accordance with Electricity Corporation of Ghana (ECG) regulations
- Track and Manage Spare Part Utilization
- Ensure high approval rating from equipment end user
- Report anomalies
- Undertaking successful preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment within assigned schedule
- Reduction of average downtime of equipment
- High customer approval rating
- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems
- Strong ability to remotely diagnose faulty equipment

Main Purpose

The Program is open to women from all degrees. Program participants will work in Technology, Operations and Business Development at FreezeLink, from June-August. Successful interns will be offered the opportunity to begin National Service immediately after their internship, and this, in turn, may qualify them for FreezeLink’s management trainee program, which is focused on creating future leaders in the West African food, agricultural and pharmaceutical sectors that FreezeLink is revolutionizing through its logistics.
